HARRIS LAYS FLOWERS FOR VICTIMS OF GUN MASSACRE
US vice-president Kamala Harris met victims’ families days after a mass shooting that killed 11 and wounded nine others at a California dance venue.
She placed flowers at a memorial, left, outside the Star Ballroom Dance Studio in Monterey Park, where Saturday night’s attack took place and later called for action to address “all-too-common tragedies” involving violence.
Meanwhile Chunli Zhao, 66, who is accused of shooting dead seven people on Monday at a mushroom farm in Half Moon Bay, California, appeared in court, inset, in Redwood City.
