Good match: Arsenal kit inspired by Piccadilly line seats

ARSENAL football club today launched a new pre-match kit inspired by the seat fabric on Piccadilly line Tube trains.
The club has worked on the kit with adidas — the sports brand behind their usual kit — and Transport for London in what is believed to be the first collaboration of its kind.
From today, fans can pick from five items in the new blue-toned pattern inspired by the seat “moquette” on Piccadilly line trains, which stop at Arsenal Tube.
Models posed at the station in masks of
Arsenal players — Emile Smith Rowe, Mana Iwabuchi and Thomas Partey — to promote the new kit, above. Players will now wear the pre-match jersey and warm top ahead of games for the rest of the season, including the men’s team clash with Liverpool tonight in the Carabao Cup semi-final second leg at The Emirates.
London-based artist and Arsenal fan Reuben Dangoor has also created a special edition Oyster Card to mark the partnership.
