NORTH KOREA LAUNCH IRKS JAPAN’S KISHIDA
NORTH KOREA fired two missiles towards Japan today, the sixth such launch in two weeks, which has further raised tensions in the region.
The short-range ballistic missiles were fired a day after South Korean and US missile drills during which one crashed.
Those were carried out in response to Pyongyang firing an intermediaterange missile over Japan in Tuesday for the first time in five years. “This cannot be tolerated,” said Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida.
