‘Great to be back’: Bookings surge lifts On The Beach

ONLINE holiday retailer On The Beach has reported a boost of 322% in bookings for the first half of the year as pandemic restrictions wind down across Europe.
It said that customers had started to flock back to sundrenched destinations with a surge in bookings for Turkey, Croatia and Greece. Revenues for the half year to 31 March 2022 increased to
£52.9 million, up from £4.4 million for the same period last year. Simon Cooper, CEO of On The Beach, said: “The first three months of this year were still fairly affected by Covid, but it’s great to be back to trading.”
