Spandau star’s passion for pots

GARY KEMP revealed one of

his more esoteric hobbies when The Londoner met him at Martha Freud’s ceramics show last night. Had the Spandau Ballet star ever tried making pots himself? “Like Ghost?” Kemp laughed. The raunchy scene from the 1990 classic was not what we had in mind. But at the Nonemore Gallery in Mayfair, Kemp did tell us that pottery has a special space in his heart. “I collected ceramics,” he said, but added: “I’m more of a 19th-century man.”
