Dahl’s daunting pudding pageant

SOPHIE DAHL doesn’t do Christmas by halves. The author and former model says she plans the meal “like a dictator”. But a benevolent, waist-enlarging one. After a feast of turkey and nut roast and all the trimmings, Dahl plumps for serving “a ridiculous Liberace-style pudding offering: Christmas pudding, the three graces (brandy butter, brandy custard, brandy clotted cream), a chocolate log, and panettone bread and butter pudding and more stewed fruit for those that think they may die. And cheese.” Sounds filling.
