THE turning of such an attractive public space into a no-go zone by anti-social behaviour must be infuriating. I wonder how this compares with another panoramic viewpoint, Parliament Hill, in the middle of the ungated Hampstead Heath (run by the Corporation of London)? The easing of lockdown, summer nights and Euro 2020 were bound to bring younger Londoners out in force. Hopefully the bad behaviour will pass with the summer’s first downpour.
