‘New’ trade deal seems familiar

THE Government’s trade deal with Australia is hailed as “a model for Britain’s post-Brexit commercial policy”. It is, however, aligned to the existent Aus-EU treaty, and (since the EU is Australia’s third biggest trading partner) likely to be subordinated to it, in case of conflict.
