Mum’s the word for me, says Khloe’s London partner in fashion

FASHION trailblazer Emma Grede made her name working with Khloe Kardashian but says her inspiration comes from growing up with a single mother in east London.

The 37-year-old entrepreneur, who set up her Good American label in 2016 with the reality star, tells this week’s ES Magazine: “I credit so much of who I am to my upbringing. I was raised with three sisters in Plaistow by a single mum. We knew our neighbours and there was a sense of community. I grew up with a white mum, a black dad and friends who were from everywhere. It goes without saying that diversity is important to me.”

Grede, who studied at the London College of Fashion, also counts Kim Kardashian and Chrissy Teigen as collaborators.
